New Years Eve
Shout out to the one and only “Magic Mike.” Not only did he give me the entire day off and took care of the boys (as you can see by their smiles it was a good “boys day” 😁😁), but I came home to most of the Christmas decorations taken down (including the tree and all of the horrendous needles swept up), the mound of laundry done, the dishes done, the kids passed out in bed, the house picked up, the cats fed, and a beautiful surprise 👇🏼 👇🏼—the house decorated for New Years Eve 😍😍.
I feel beyond romanticized, beyond spoiled and ever so grateful that he is so thoughtful, such a great dad, and such an awesome husband! I love you sugar! 😘
I came home to the house decorated like this! He is such a romantic!
Karaoke and glitter hang over this morning ✨✨ 🎤 #weknowhowtoparty#happynewyear #myhousewillforeversparkle. We had do much fun doing karaoke and it took us 2 hours to pick up all the glitter (so worth it)

Look who learned how to tie his shoes!
Love him!
There are days when I just want to have time with no distractions and then there are days when it just hits me: they love me more than anything; I’m their favorite person to be around even when I am doing boring things like my makeup. I know this time is fleeting—friend’s, sports, girls, life—are going to be more important than their old mom. It’s hard—when they are asking to play cars or superheroes with you, asking for the 14th snack of the day, and climbing into your bed at night to snuggle with you—to remember these things. Sometimes you just want time to pass and for them to gain more independence. But then I think of the day, that will no doubt arrive, when I am trying to get them to just make eye contact with me, to have them share what’s on their mind, to convince them to let me take them on a mommy/son date, and I realize that I need to love this time a little bit more, squeeze them a little tighter, cave into their desires to constantly talk my ear off and just enjoy the all of the love they want to endlessly give me #mommyhood #itssodangandyetitssuchabeautifulthing
One of their new favorite things to do: make videos with their toys :)
The Tahoe finally gave out on us and we bought a new car. Becks got to do the honors :)
When life keeps handing you 🍋 you make lemonade (i.e. your old Tahoe keeps breaking down and costs you an arm and a leg in repairs, you go buy a new Tahoe). Merry Christmas. Hallelujah. Thank you. You’re welcome #lovemynewride #apparentlysodotheboys
Oh. My. Word! We accepted Rosie’s invite to her grandsons birthday and we never guessed what we were in store for. Not only were they the hostess’ with the mostesses (so fun meeting her wonderful, kind, family and friends—we can learn so much from her beautiful culture), but her authentic mexican food was TO DIE for. Mike and I love mexican food and since moving down south we have been disappointed with the lack of good mexican here. We decided she needs to start a food truck called Rosie’s Authentic Mexican (I’d eat there every day) 😋😋 Maria Rodriguezthank you again. Love you! 😘😘....we may just be coming over for Christmas dinner
