Happy Easter!!

This was Amari's first Easter so he didn't really get to experience it much, being 6 weeks old, but he was along for the ride during all of the festivities his brother experienced.

So excited for next year when he and his brother can enjoy the holidays and our family traditions so much more!

Happy Easter! This was Beckahm's second year celebrating Easter.  The Easter bunny hid his basket in the oven this year :).  He was so excited to go find it and even more thrilled to see all the candy and toys he'd brought him.  

This was Amari's first year celebrating (he was simply along for the ride).

We colored Easter eggs, went to the ward Easter egg hunt, hid plastic eggs full of candy around the house for Beck's to find, watched an Easter video on Jesus and taught Beck's the TRUE meaning of Easter.  How I love holidays and passing on family traditions.  I was a bit lazy this year and didn't make out traditional Easter meal, maybe next year :).

Our Darling Amari is Already a Month Old!

I can't believe you are already a month old! It seems like you were born yesterday!

 A few tidbits about this 1 month milestone:

• You are such a strong baby; you are already holding your head up (every time we hold you, you want to look into our eyes so you try and hold your head out to get enough distance to see us)
• You ROLLED OVER!! I couldn't believe my eyes to see that you already hit this milestone.  I had you on your tummy on the couch and the next minute I looked over to see how you were doing I found you on your back! I have a feeling you are going to be reaching your milestones quicker than I would like :) #pleasedon'tgrowuptoofast#
• I knew it was too good to be true—your calm, quiet demeanor—you have started crying a lot more and your cry is super high pitched :).  
• You tend to have a lot of gas, poor little thing, every time I hold you, you are tootin! It may be what I am eating? I hope to remedy this issue for you quickly.
• You have become a little too reliant on your binkie (just like your brother did). I am thinking of getting rid of it cold turkey as I did your brother, but we will give it another month or so.  And you are also reliant on Mommy, which is a good and bad. Whenever I leave the room you seem to know and you vocalize your disapproval. 
• Ever since we started you on formula you have chunked up big time! My how you are growing.  At 6wks I think we weighed you in at 7 1/2 pds!!
