This week Mike was gone to GA selling; our first real taste of summer :(—let the endless hours, and traveling, and being a single mother begin.
I always try to find a way for the boys to play or have fun on errands. I had to run to the mall and we stopped in to get a soft pretzel, which the boys loved and devoured, and Beck's got to see the Easter Bunny, watch a little Easter show, and play on this ATV.
Story time at the Hoover Library, every Wednesday. The lady that puts on story time is amazing—so energetic, entertaining, and visual. Beck's loves playing parachute at the end of story time. He always has to pick out "his particular books", a stuffed animal, play with puzzles and play a game on the ipad, and play outside if weather permits. Today we enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and played outside. Beckahm was so distraught that this little girl wouldn't let him in the castle. He came over to me and said "this girl is not being nice mom, she told me to get out." I was so pleased that our books about managing one's feelings were evidently paying off. What a good little boy to walk away and tell and adult instead of being mean to her :)
My favorite pic—looking at this girl like "okay really, get out of my way now." :)
Amari LOVES being around kids he doesn't know (he especially loves girls); he isn't afraid whatsoever, he will run right up to someone and smile at them.
Love his new clothes I got from H & M, what stud in those hightops :)
He loves playing on the slide.
Cute Becks and his many expressions
After lunch at Tropical Smoothie we were off to enjoy a beautiful morning at Aldridge Botanical Gardens
My cool cats!
Playing at the park outside our apartments
Love this cute little snail rider

Amari's first real battle wound. This little boy LOVES running off whenever he gets the chance. When we were at the gardens I let him out of the stroller throughout our walk and he would b-line it down the hills towards the lake—not cautious at all—literally doing somersaults. At one point I put him back in the stroller and he wanted out so bad he bailed out as I was pushing him and face planted it in the gravel. Poor muffin. He keeps me on my toes; he's especially hard because he doesn't
Seriously one of the funniest moments caught on tape. This is such a perfect description of how Amari handles things: with a grain of salt.

I was calling and calling for Amari to come into the bathroom and jump in the bath with Beckahm. I couldn't find him. I looked outside and here he was; he had managed to jump up on this chair all by himself; he just didn't know how to get himself down. Funny kid! Just like Becks, he has such a hard time going down steps and such; I think raising kids in an apartment with no stairs is to blame.
