Weekly Events

Becks and I used to play this "how many hats can you put on your head" game when he was about Amari's age.  Today we pulled out the hats again; Amari loved it!

Auntie Deirdre was so kind and thoughtful to send these Curious George videos to the kids.  Amari obviously LOVED them!

I bought these seaweed papers at Earth Fare and Amari LOVED them; kinda strange, he takes after his dad.

I love how I find him after naps :)

Seriously one of the cutest moments ever.  Beckahm is such an obedient, sweet, thoughtful little boy. When he wakes up earlier than us he will turn on the lights and play with his toys, either in his room or in the living room, waiting for us to wake up (he doesn't come wake us up).  And during nap time he does the same, he will go into his room after I let him watch a show and pretty much stay there until nap time is over.  The past few days, while I have been taking a nap, he has gotten his stool in his bathroom and used it to retrieve food from the pantry.  I have gotten the biggest kick out of how I find him after naps—one time with the bag of bread on the floor, a piece of it still in his mouth, and one time he was eating cinnamon raisin english muffins right out of the bag.  He amazes me that he doesn't come into my room to wake me to tell me he needs a snack :).  One morning when I went into wake him and Amari, I found him in Amari's room handing him toys, singing him songs, and playing puppets for him.  The video is really dark—unfortunately—but I am glad I captured this moment on camera—too precious.  What a sweet, thoughtful brother he can be!
