My Hard Working Dad

My husband is one of the hardest working men I know in one of the hardest industries/jobs on planet earth: door to door sales. He amazes me—being in this industry in nearly every state (from east coast to west) for almost 8 years, 3 of which have been year round (you do the math and figure out how many doors he's knocked). The things he sees, the experiences he has, and the people he meets astounds me. I am so grateful for his drive and dedication to put a roof over our heads: to walk many a mile day in and day out with gnats swarming his face and sweat running down his butt crack—being chased after by dogs, people with guns, threatened by those in the hood, doors slammed in his face, people yelling profanities, going without a break (starved and thirsty at the end of the day), peeing in the bushes, being driven out by cops, fixing flat tires, driving some times 4 hours a day to an area, staying in crappy motels weeks in a row, eating crappy food weeks in a row...all to get 1 deal, 4 deals...to make a future for our family. Russel Crow has nothing on this man...He is THE gladiator fo-realllzzz ‪#‎grateful‬ ‪#‎mama‬ ‪#‎gladiator‬ ‪#‎husband‬‪#‎aka‬ ‪#‎magicmike‬ ‪#‎doortodoorsales‬ ‪#‎alder‬ ‪#‎home‬ ‪#‎security‬ ‪#‎hardworkpaysoff‬‪#‎lovehim‬ ‪#‎gomikego‬ ‪#‎bhm‬ ‪#‎poundingthepavement‬ ‪#‎dayindayout‬ ‪#‎summer‬‪#‎grind‬ ‪#‎lifeofasalesman‬ @yesmikego
