Amari is such a Daddy's boy. Mike has had to be gone for week trips and every time Amari sees a picture or video of Mike he freaks out, holding out his arms, trying to reach for his dad, crying and said "daddy." He loves his daddy!!
He has become such a good little climber, climbing on the pillow to get the couch, climbing in the toy car, climbing the ladder to watch me cook dinner, etc.
He loves sea creatures (I let him and Beck's watch a you tube video on sharks in the mornings).
He loves watching Bo on the Go. Although he is still not totally into watching TV, he is getting more patient at watching it.
He used to LOVE his Maisy and his sound books but he is slowly venturing out and trying new ones.
He is the biggest eater; he could eat all day and be happy! He seems to always be hungry, even after he is done with his meal he will scavenge the house and others plates for more food. Seriously the key with Amari is feed him and he stays happy.
Even though he shouldn't have ice cream he LOVES it! He gets so excited when he gets ice cream.
He also likes seaweed—I was so shocked when I gave him these sheets of seaweed we found at Earth Fare. He devoured them
He loves practicing somersaults
He is now climbing up on everything (except he hasn't climbed out of his crib, thankfully)
He keeps getting his legs caught between the bars of his crib (pretty scary actually, Mike and need to fix this problem because he could lose his leg :(.
He has started to really like watching shows but they have to be ones he is interested in like Postman Pat, Bo on the Go, George, etc.
He is such a happy boy; usually always has a smile on his face
He is hard when it comes to listening and obeying. He doesn't like no. He likes to do his own thing and try things on his own.
He has had the hardest time with letting me brush his teeth.
The ladies at the gym told me that everyone that comes to pick up their kids wants to take Amari home with them; they love him.
Every where we go people comment about how adorable he is with his adorable smile and his "angel like" blonde hair and blue eyes.
He is good at playing by himself, especially with trucks or cars; lately he has really loved playing with the kitchen set.
He is good when it comes to playing and taking care of fake and even real babies; he is just a sweet heart—very tender—with them.
He still doesn't care for the pool much, which amazes me because he loves to play in water whenever he gets the chance.
He is such a good mimicker. He basically mimics anything Beckahm does.
He loves going up and down the stairs now with pretty much no assistance from me.
He loves watching sports
He has such funny sense of humor; he loves to watch people do silly things
He has gotten harder when it comes to changing him (he will put up a fight), and when he wants something he will let you know by yelling out or stomping his feet.
He loves to tease brother; he will take something he knows will bother Beckahm and either have a smirk on his face when he does it or laugh out loud and run away.
At 18months he just entered nursery (he is now in nursery with Beckahm) and he had little hard time the first time we left him in there but since then he has been doing great.
He is such a busy boy, he gets into everything that he shouldn't :).
He is getting better at understanding what we are saying; it is fun to watch him learn how to take direction.
He LOVES anything with wheels—cars, trucks, skateboards (he loves playing on Mike's skateboard every day). He LOVES playing with Beck's train set in his room
He loves music and he will dance a little jig whenever he hears music.
Him and Becks are getting along more and more each day. He loves being chased by brother. He also loves messing with Becks by getting into his room and playing with his things; he just thinks it is the funniest thing when he gets Beck's all riled up.
During our PNW trip I learned really quick (with Mike being gone) that he LOVED younger male figures. He followed around Stacey like a puppy dog, he LOVED being around Uncle James, and any where we went, to a park, the beach, etc., the first person (even if he didn't know them) he saw that was younger and male he would run up.
When we were traveling to Grants Pass to see my parents the only show he really loved was Curious George (he'd smile and make the cutest monkey sounds watching it); he LOVES monkey's.
He was so amazing on the car ride (7 hours) to and from Grants Pass. He honestly didn't make a peep until the last hour or so of the trip. The whole trip (outside the traveling) he blew me away with how easy going, and calm his demeanor is. I am blessed to have such a happy, go lucky, low matienence child like Amari.
