Brothers

Big brother wanting to play with baby brother in his crib!

Amari learning how to walk

The boys both LOVE the new John Mayor cd.  They could listen to it over and over; it makes them so chill!

Beckahm's favorite sleeping position, cracks me up!

 I love pancakes!!

Best/rare moment: I was doing my makeup and Beckahm comes in and starts touching my hair while watching me in the mirror.  I ask if I can take a picture with him and he was so willing; he even smiled!!

Date night with the hubs: Salvation Army (hunting for ugly Christmas sweaters so we could enter the Christmas sweater contest with Mikes work).

This is how we do it shopping for groceries :)

9 Month Old Tidbits

A little about Amari at this age:

Right before we left on our trip Amari started walking with the assitance of a walker.  It was second nature to him. Mike put him by the walker and off he went, acting like it was no big deal.  He didn’t even fall his first, second, and third time.  We were astonished. When we returned home from our 5 day vacation in Jamaica he had grown up so much.  He was pulling himself up and crawling at lightning speed.  At about 9 months he is getting better and better at crawling, going from sitting to standing (which he prefers).

He is really good at cruising around the house and finding things to entertain himself.  He LOVES the playground toy that lights up and makes sounds.  He loves to stand by the tv stand.

He is officially taking “big boy baths” with brother.

He is still ever so smily and happy.  He really is such an easy going baby; even when Beckahm messes with him (which happens A LOT) and isn’t nice to him he just smiles, laughs, or crawls away.

His 4 front teeth are coming in.  He has the cutest gap between his two front teeth.

He loves wrestling and being tickled.

He is such a mover; it is harder to dress him now.

He doesn’t like being on his back; he is always trying to turn around on his tummy and crawl.

He is becoming quite the chatter box, talking up a storm.

He is not that interested in reading or books, despite the multiple times I have tried reading to him.

He loves being around Beckham’s friends; lights up whenever they are around and whenever they pay attention to him.

He has started standing up in his crib.  He is really good about hanging out until I come and get him.
