Halloween decorations are up! This tiny abode is finally done and starting to feel like a home. This goes to show that even a temporary, unexpected place can be made to feel like a home with some creativity, a lot of baskets for organizing 😆, using what you already have (even if they are mismatched pieces), bins for storing seasonal clothing, and simple Ikea lighting....we could have gotten a large, beautiful dresser but instead we used what we had: the kids old dresser adorned with their old sticker collection, and an old side end bunk bed dresser that I had planned on flipping three years ago and never got around to doing it. The set up about drove Mike mad, but who cares what it looks like, functionality is key when things are temporary. Besides I’d much rather spend my money on some new winter clothes and dump more money into our vacay to Thailand and Bali. Sometimes you’ve got to pick and choose 🤷🏼♀️ and roll with the situation you’ve been handed #homeiswhereyourheartis #cozyandeclectic#moncurfab4adventures
